Trailing Sell

An amateur investor predicted the HSI Futures would be trading in the range of 21900 - 22100.

User's Requirements:

Trades will be executed automatically
Potential loss is limited
Cost is minimised and the profit is maximised.

User's Actions:

Set a normal "Buy" order at 21900,
Enabled the "Stop Loss" and set 50 pt as the "Stop Loss" value
Enabled the "Trailing Sell" and set 200 pt and 10% as the trailing sell trigger and trailing stop values

Manual Trading

A trend-based trader used MACD, with the support of RSI and Volume for opening and closing "Long" / "Short" positions of HSI Futures.

User's Requirements:

MACD, RSI and Volume to be plotted on "1-second" graphs
Trades can be executed manually and/or semi-automatically
Potential loss is limited

User's Actions:

Opened and closed the Long / Short positions using short-cut keys
Enabled the "Stop Loss" and set 50 pt as the "Stop Loss" value

Backtesting of Algorithmic Trade

An algorithmic trader used Intelligent Invest, to backtest the effectiveness of his algo, and compare its performance with other index / instrument.
